SEMANA CARTERO 2010
Estimado compañero/a, nuevamente se acerca "La
Semana del Cartero". Este año será del 10 de Octubre 2010 al 16 de Octubre del 2010. Brothers and sisters,
from October 10, 2010 thru October 16, 2010, we'll celebrate the "Letter Carrier Week".
La
actividad del "Día Familiar" se llevara a cabo el domingo 10 de octubre del 2010, este año en el "Rancho" en Corozal. Como
todos los años comienza a las 10:00 AM hasta las 5:00 PM. Our "Family Day" activity will be held on Sunday,
October 10, 2010 at the “Rancho” in Corozal. It is from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
NOTA
ACLARATORIA: Como Cartero miembro de nuestra local, usted tiene derecho de participar gratuitamente de esta actividad en compañía
de su familia inmediata. Entiéndase: Esposo/a, hijos/as. Cualquier otra persona (padres, madres, nietos) que lo acompañen
a usted ese día que no sea su familia inmediata sera un INVITADO. Invitados tienen un costo de $25.00, cada uno. NOTE:
As a member of the Branch you and your immediate family (wife, son, daughter) can participate FREE of charge. Any other person
that attend with you (father, mother, grandchildren) that it is not your immediate family will be considered as a GUEST. Fee
for guest is $25.00 each.
Otra actividad que celebramos como parte de la "Semana del Cartero"
es el "Torneo de Domino y Billar". Este se celebrara el Domingo, 31 de Octubre del 2010, tentativamente en el Pub "El Criollo"
en Guaynabo. Es el mismo lugar donde se celebro el ano pasado. Esta actividad es de 12:00 PM a 5:00 PM. Nuestro Hermano Quique
Martínez de Caparra Station estará a cargo de esta actividad, si usted quiere ayudarlo el se lo agradecerá. The
Dominoes and Billiard Tournament tentatively will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2010, from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM at " El Criollo"Pub,
same place we had it last year. Brother Quique Martinez from Caparra Station will be in charge, if you wish to help him he'll
appreciated.
Estaremos vendiendo camisetas para el "Día Familiar" a un costo de $10.00. Estas
estarán listas para la primera semana de Septiembre 2010. Se le avisara a los Shop Stewards para que hagan sus órdenes. For
the "Family Day “activity we'll be selling T-shirts for $10.00 each. T-shirts will be ready during te 1st week of September,
Shop Stewards will be contacted in order for them to place their orders by stations.

Also, remember that every MONDAY at 6:00 P.M. the Grievance Committee is available to assist members,
Shop Stewards with grievance information and processing.
We invite our members to join us. Our officers are
more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the contract and your union.

The Postal Employees' Credit Union (POSTAL COOP) was established in 1949 as a state chartered credit
union to serve the financial needs of Postal Employees in the San Juan / Metro area.Our members are our owners, of which we
have approximatley 4,400. The membership is represented by four currently employed postal employees, two postal retireesand
two other federal employees who direct the operation of the credit union for the benefit of the membership. Through their
guidance, the credit union has grown and provides a full array of quality financial services for the membership.
